JOB VACANCY: Weekend Retail Sales Assistant
Working within the Head Office of a nationwide fencing, architectural metalwork and joinery company you will work alongside the General Manager (GM). Working within the retail timber and gate divisions your main activity is to offer exceptional customer service at all times in the shop and on the telephone. Advising customers regarding prices, product types and taking orders both on the telephone and in person at the sales counter. This role is customer focused to ensure we are consistently meeting customer expectations. Hours of work:
8am – 1pm Saturday (October to February)
8am – 4pm Saturday (March – September)
10am – 4pm Sunday (March – September)

Cynthia Spencer Charity Bike Ride
Martin Smith, Simon Peart, Ian Rock, Ian Townsend, Silas Wilde and Brett Goldsmith, all members of staff from The Wilde Group Ltd, recently completed a 50 mile sponsored bike ride to raise funds for Cynthia Spencer Hospice.
The total amount of sponsorship raised is £752.00

Silas Wilde, Managing Director of The Wilde Group Ltd consisting of 4 trading divisions CEM Fencing Contractors, NRG Fabrications, DJC Joinery and HFS Timber is marking this occasion with invitation-only corporate and social events throughout the year.
During 2010, Silas will be inviting people and companies, past and present to help commemorate the past 25 years and to thank them for their help and support in making The Wilde Group a success.

The Wilde Group Ltd has appointed The Northamptonshire & Warwickshire Air Ambulance as their 2010 Charity of the Year.
Alison Treacher & Nicola Scott have set a target sum of £2,500.00, various events and fundraising activities will take place throughout the New Year.

The Wilde Group Appoint New Health & Safety Manager
The Wilde Group has announced the appointment of their new Health & Safety Manager, Alison Treacher. This is a new role within The Wilde Group.
Alison, 37, has experience of working in both the private and public sector and has been a Health and Safety Practitioner for over ten years. Alison holds a NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) National General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health, National Certificate in Construction Safety and Health, Fire Safety and Risk Management Certificate and is currently working towards a National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety. Previous experience includes monitoring contractors, writing risk assessments and method statements, delivering training and tool box talks and co-ordinating CDM projects.
Alison says “the appointment of a Health & Safety Manager shows a firm commitment from The Wilde Group to take health and safety forward to another level. I am looking forward to working with clients to ensure that projects are completed safely and raising the profile of health and safety with our own employees which, in turn, will benefit our customers.”

HFS Timber restores 17th Century Cannon!
One of the more impressive projects undertaken recently by HFS Timber's team of experienced joiners is a seventeenth-century oak cannon owned by a stately home in Northamptonshire. The cannon was completely re-made by our team of craftsmen on site here at Harlestone Firs and restored to its former glory overlooking the countryside.
