Timber Fencing Panels and Posts Price List...
Fence panels from HFS Timber are manufactured here on site at Harlestone Firs near Northampton using timber from sustainable sources. To preserve the life of your garden fencing all fence panels are pressure treated and can then be gold dipped. The quality graded timber used to make the panels is strong and durable, ensuring your fencing will be long lasting. Our framework baton is 16x38mm on our overlap fence panels and is 38x42mm on our feather edge fence panels. This is more substantial than the standard panels on the market ensuring a true heavy duty product which is built to last. Along with our standard sizes, we offer a bespoke service where timber fence panels are made to order based on your specific measurements.
Overlap Fence Panels
Horizontal waney edge slats in a traditional gold colour, the most economical option for your garden fence. Also known as larch lap panels. These come in standard sizes of 6ft x 6ft, 6ft x 5ft, 6ft x 4ft and 6ft x 3ft.

Feather Edge or Closeboard Panels
Vertical feather edge boards on a heavy duty timber framework, provide a stronger, heavier alternative to overlap fence panels. Available in the same standard sizes as overlap panels, also bespoke panels made to order. Pressure tanalised, pressure creosoted or gold dipped treatment.
Feather Edge Fencing
An alternative to fence panels, is Feather Edge Fencing or Closeboard Fencing, manufactured from vertical 3 notched posts along with triangular arris rails, the boards are overlapped to give a stronger fence more likely to stand up to high winds and gales. Feather edge boards are available in various lengths ranging from 900mm to 3000mm, so that your fence can be made to the height you require. This type of fencing lends itself more to gardens that are on a slope, as the feather edge boards can be fitted to match gradients. A professional fencer uses feather edge fencing to make a strong, durable fence with boards that are easily replaced. All the timber used on closeboard fencing is pressure treated tanalised or creosoted (Creosote can only be fitted by professional fencers.)

Concrete Fencing Posts
Concrete fence posts offer an alternative to timber posts which are usually used to erect garden fencing. Fence panels can be held in place with slotted concrete posts and concrete gravel boards. These give a stronger finish to your fence and if you need to retain soil, a 12 inch concrete gravel board is an ideal product to perform this task. Concrete posts will never rot and timber panels can be easily replaced once you have the concrete framework for your fence.
Supalite Fencing
The newest product on the market is supalite fencing posts and gravel boards. Supalite is a light, easy to use alternative to concrete fence posts, which will not crack, chip or rot and it is made from 88% recyclable material. The advanced composite posts give all the strength of concrete yet weigh half as much, making this a preferred option for many. Fence posts and gravel boards are available in green or brown to blend in with the natural colours of your garden.
